Doug and Jan did our house appraisal several months before we listed our property for sale. Unlike other agents who lost interest quickly, Jan would visit me regularly to update us on the local real estate market and to advise me on what I needed to do to prepare the property for sale. I had problems in deciding when to list the property and which method of sale to choose (tender, auction etc). Jan provided a great level of support and exhibited enormous patience
with me as I tried to make my decisions. In the end I decided to go the auction way and the marketing process associated with that, as it gave me more certainty
in terms of timing that would fit in with our household's timetable (mock exams for NCEA and final exams etc).

I was very impressed with the marketing process which saw nearly 60 groups of people viewing our home. When we received an early offer for the house, Jan and Doug were very helpful and supportive in enabling me to see the
marketing process through to the auction date. All through the campaign, they kept me informed very regularly about its progress.

The house sold on auction day and both the purchasers and I were very pleased with the result. That has not been the end of our contact with Doug and Jan.
They have gone out of their way to help me with the removal process and have also helped me put together offers on prospective house purchases.

Doug and Jan, with their attention to detail and their very high level of communication have made our house sale process as painless as this stressful process could be.
